What we collect
- Account: your email address (for sign-in codes) and a display name you choose.
- Listening data: which episodes you play and your resume positions, so playback syncs across your devices.
- Content you create: links, text or files you submit to be turned into audio, and the resulting audio. These are private to you by default.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
- Podcasts in our directory stream from their original publishers; we don't inject tracking into them.
Third-party services
We use trusted processors to run the service: cloud hosting (AWS), email delivery for sign-in codes, and AI services that process content you explicitly submit for transformation (transcription, translation, speech synthesis). Your content is sent to these services only to fulfil your request.
Data retention & deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, which removes your account data and private audio. Or email us and we'll do it for you.
Children
Nap.fm is not directed at children under 13.
